★ Jeonju Hanok Village
Jeonju is a city with a 1200-year history that inherits and develops traditional Korean culture, including hanoks(traditional Korean houses), food, and intangible cultural heritage. In the hanok village, densely packed with about 700 houses, you will visit Gyeonggijeon, where the portrait of King Taejo Lee Seong-gye, the founder of the Joseon Dynasty, is enshrined. Near Jeondong Cathedral, where the first Catholic believers were martyred, you can feel the 500 years of the Joseon Dynasty encapsulated in a single frame of a photo, along with the scenery. As you walk a bit further, you will encounter Pungnammun, the representative gate of Jeonju from the Joseon era. Designated as Treasure No. 308, it is another must-visit place in Jeonju where you can sense the traces of the Joseon era.

★ Yeosu Yi Sun-Sin Square
Yeosu is a city associated with the Admiral Yi Sun-Sin, the hero who led the Japanese invasions of Korea to victory in the Imjin War in 1952. At the Yi Sun-Sin Square, where a life-sized model of the turtle ship, the vessel that played a significant role in the war, is exhibited, you can witness and feel the historical significance of the site.

Odongdo island is known as the "Camellia Island" because it is home to over 3,000 camellia trees that bloom with vibrant red flowers from late winter. The extended breakwater to the island offers a stunning view of the beautiful sea landscape.

★ Oedo-Botania
Oedo-Botania in Geoje, which served as the filming location for the last episode of the KBS drama 'Winter Sonata' in March 2002, is located about 4 km away from Geoje Island. It is an island overlooking the beautiful natural landscapes of the surrounding areas, including the Haegeumgang River, Hongdo, and Daemado. Oedo-Botania is adorned with exotic buildings and landscapes that resemble a beach on the Mediterranean.
The Oedo Island visit schedule may be replaced to Hansan Island due to circumstances.

On the way to Busan, you will pass through Geoga Bridge(Busan–Geoje Bridge), a scenic drive location where you can admire the beautiful natural landscapes created by the sea and islands of Geoje.
★ Busan Gukje Market, Bupyeong Kkangtong Night Market
Upon arriving in Busan, you will explore the Busan Gukje Market. Established after the Korean War, the International Market became a hub for various goods, including U.S. military supplies. The market is like a gigantic maze with numerous alleys, and as you wander through, it feels like a labyrinth where you continue to go back to where you came from. When it comes to markets, one thing you cannot overlook is the food. In the market alleys, you can enjoy the romantic atmosphere unique to the market, with vendors selling Chungmu gimbap (rice rolls), Bibim-dangmyeon (spicy mixed sweet potato noodles), Odeng (fish cakes), Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), and Sundae (Korean blood sausage) neatly arranged on wooden trays. Right next to it, the Bupyeong Kkangtong Night Market, the first permanent night market in Korea, offers a variety of folk games and performance programs for tourists to enjoy. |
